Belgium is rewarding us with a beautiful spring in 2017, including this Saturday. I had one and a half hours to wait until the start of a Juventus football match, so I decided to go out and enjoy a lovely Belgian spring sunset in the countryside. I’m presently struggling with (latest diagnosis) arthrosis of the hip, and walking any distance becomes a painful task, so I parked close to an open plain at the edge of Overijse and walked a couple of hundred metres along a country lane, enough to be able to capture the mood with my phone camera.
So much for Belgium being always wet and grey and dreary. Up until now, spring has been absolutely gorgeous.
